Building block:the two marks
Two small marks (゛) make a sound buzzier. A small circle (゜) on the は row makes a p sound. That's 25 kana from one rule.
How it works
- The marks go on the か, さ, た and は rows; the circle goes only on the は row.
- ぢ and づ are rare. They sound the same as じ and ず.
